The swim was first held in 1922 and was won by 14-year-old, Maisie Boyle, who we proudly include as part of the swim’s logo. The Fremantle Ports Swim Thru is an annual event which forms part of the WA Masters Swimming, WOW Open Water Swim series, “the community swim series for all.” The swim offers 3 distances: 3.2km, 1.6km and a Try-it 250m.
