Refine your technique, enhance your fitness, and connect with fellow swimmers during our four-week pool clinic. Led by an experienced and supportive MSWA accredited swimming coach, these small, friendly sessions are tailored to individuals of all levels, whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate seeking to push your limits.

$40.00 pp
The cost of these clinics is subsidised from our partnership with DLGSC and give an opportunity for a coach to be mentored by a lead coach.
Please note, ticket pricing does not include pool entry costs.
What you will achieve?
Each session will provide gentle warm up exercises on pool side to ensure that you are ready for swimming. Each session builds up gradually to ensure you are comfortable in your progression and the drill.
We do not extend past 2km and depending on your swimming level and progression, you don’t have to complete the 2km and we can challenge those swimmers who are more confident.
You will learn the following:
- Head and body positioning
- Kicking mechanics
- Hand position and finger drag
- Propulsion in the water
- Streamline body positioning.
- Breathing
- Building endurance and stroke efficiency.
FAQ’s
Who are they for?
- Beginner level: For those beginning to learn swimming, maybe haven’t swam for a while or injured from other sports and want to improve swimming for their fitness levels.
- Intermediate level: For those that would like to improve their stroke, efficiency and fitness in swimming. You might also be aiming for a new goal in swimming and we can take your swimming to the next level.
Requirements?
- All swimmers must be able to swim at least 50m continuously.
- You will be separated into 3 lanes that suit each level of swimmer.
- Must be 18 and there is no age limit. You are never too old to learn, right?
What do I need to bring?
- Goggles
- Water bottle
- Towel
- Kickboard and fins.
- Bathers
Do I need to attend all sessions?
- Yes, to get the most of the program, we recommend attending all session. If you are sick or unable to make a session, please let us know via communications@mswa.asn.au
- Please note, there is no refunds if you are unable to attend one of the session.
