About
About Masters Swimming WA
MSWA encourages all adults, regardless of ability, to swim regularly in order to promote fitness and health in a fun environment. Joining a Masters Swimming Club is an excellent way to develop life-long friendships and remain fit while having fun.
Strategic Plan
The MSWA Strategic Plan 2019 - 2022 is a major step up for the organisation. WA currently has the largest Masters Swimming member base and we are excited to continue to promote the 'fitness, friendship and fun' benefits of swimming in a masters club.
Our People
MSWA is a State Sports Association governed by a board of management comprising the President, Finance Director and up to 7 further directors. Several sub-committees including Finance and Audit, Coaching, Technical, Open Water support the board and staff.
Clubs
MSWA is an organisation for adult swimmers and adult swimming clubs around Western Australia with 31 clubs covering both metropolitan and key regional areas. For more information about joining a club, please click on the link below.
Membership
Membership is open to people who are 18 years or are older. Join a Masters Club to train and compete in club, branch and national Masters events or just for 'fitness, friendship and fun'. FINA still retains it's minimum age for competing at 25 years.
Awards
MSWA are proud to acknowledge the achievements and contributions from members through various awards that are presented annually at the AGM. For more information and a history of award winners, please click on the link below.
Life Members
Life Membership is bestowed on dedicated members and volunteers who have been nominated by at least two clubs for their service to MSWA and for their sustained excellence to the furtherance of the Association's ideals and values.
Coaches and Officials
Coaches and Technical Officials are an incredibly important part of Masters Swimming and we encourage you to think about how you can help your Clubs in coaching training sessions or officiating in swim meets or open water events.
