It is that time of the year again to celebrate the 2025 Act Belong Commit Winter Solstice – Saturday 21st June – Wednesday 25th June 2025.

This is a virtual open-water swim event that can be completed at any time during the competition period. Clubs are to organise their swim session at a time/date/venue that suits them. You may complete the swim in a pool instead if the weather is unsafe for open water swimming if you do not feel confident swimming in open water, or if you are in a remote location.

Each individual swimmer must log their participation online in order to collect points for the club. Entries are to be submitted using the online form. You must be a current Masters Swimming WA member to enter.

There will be three swim distances you can take part in:

Quick Dip (5 points): up to but not exceeding 500m

Regular Swim (10 points): 500m -2km

Super Swim (15 points): More than 2km

You can log 1 swim per day of competition, or 4 swims total. Points can also be earned for submitting photos (5 points each)and videos (10 points each). Each individual can submit a maximum of 5 photos and 2 videos per entry.Photos may only be used once.Photos and videos must be sent to communications@mswa.asn.au.
