Masters Swimming WA Inc. is primarily run by volunteers, however we do have a small State Office comprising of three staff members.

		Communications & Events Manager Hannah Lawton – communications@mswa.asn.au Hannah has a background in sports administration, club development and event organisation. Prior to commencing at Masters Swimming WA, she had spent four years in sport development and event management at Motorcycling WA. Hannah started her sports journey in Triathlon, and still enjoys swimming, running ang cycling for recreation. In 2020 she completed a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. Hannah commenced her role at Masters Swimming WA in March 2021.

		Coach & Swimmer Education Coordinator Kareena Preston – coaching@mswa.asn.au Kareena Preston has been a swim coach for almost 30 years producing swimmers to state, national and international level. Mentored by some of Australia’s best Olympic coaches, Kareena is fortunate to have learnt from the best coaches this country has produced. Spending many long weeks learning at the AIS in Canberra, travelling with teams and coaching at the WA Institute of Sport, Kareena feels so fortunate to have the wealth of knowledge in swimming she has acquired. Currently a coach on the Australian Down Syndrome Swim Team, Kareena has produced multiple world record holders at World and Paralympic level.
